Fast-growing perennial with a spreading growth habit to 8-12″ tall x 24-36″ wide. Verbena has long been prized for its versatility and free-blooming nature. This vigorous, long-blooming variety forms a dense mat of feathery, mildew-resistant dark-green foliage accented with abundant clusters of fragrant, vivid purple flowers that appear throughout the warmer months, or nearly year-round in mild climates. A favorite for butterflies. Makes a great colorful perennial groundcover and is well-suited in rock gardens, cottage gardens, mixed planters, beds and borders, or as a superb container or hanging basket specimen. Tolerates heat and humidity once established. Prefers light to moderate watering in a well-drained soil and thrives in a full to partial sun exposure.
