Fast-growing evergreen shrub with a dense upright growth-habit to 8-12’ tall and wide. This popular vigorous disease-resistant variety features spined branches of deep-green foliage accented with profuse creamy-white flowers in spring followed by abundant clusters of large brilliant orange-red berries that hold their color fall into winter. These berries are a favorite food source for birds. Versatile and well-suited as a large hedge screen or espalier specimen. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil. Full to partial sun though flower and fruit production is best in a full sun exposure.
